Teens in Business is designed to take your teen’s idea of a business and turn it into a reality.  If you look at the Forbes list of the most wealthy Americans  many of those who did not inherit their wealth got there by running their own business.  Could your child have the next billion dollar idea?  Or earn enough money to put him or herself through college? To fund an early retirement?

Teens in Business shows how to get started.  We work on developing a business plan, creating a marketing strategy, pricing, and the accounting requirements for a small businesses.  Teens will learn about tracking income and expenses, banking, use of credit and financing and taxes—sales, income and self-employment.

Limited to 12 participants per session to give plenty of opportunity for individual attention and time to develop each participant’s ideas.

Cost: $195 

To get the full benefit of this workshop, please be aware that there will be activities assigned that must be performed outside of the workshop hours that will take 3-5 hours per week 

Participants completing the workshop will be eligible to apply for a small business loan given by Gerri Harrison Financial Services to finance business start-up costs
